 As Announced by the ALAC Executive Committee, the RALOs Have Been Requested to transmit all accepted nominations for consideration by the ALAC for 2013 NomCom appointment as At-Large Delegates. 


 In order to prioritize the two candidates for the position LACRALO of At-Large Delegate to the 2013 NomCom, the Chair of LACRALO, Jose Arce, and Secretariat, Sylvia Leite Herlein Have Requested a vote to run from 14 August-through 17 August 2012. 


 The two candidates are (in alphabetical order by surname): 


 * Jacqueline Morris 
 * Vanda Scartezini 


 The priority ranking of These two candidates will be Transmitted to the ALAC on 17 August 2012.
 PLEASE NOTE THAT the ICANN Bylaws state: XI-2.4.E The ALAC Marshall, after Consultation With Each RALO Annually Appoint Delegates voting five (two of Whom Shall not be Citizens of countries in the Same Geographic Region, as defined According To Section 5 of Article VI to the Nominating Committee). 


 The next steps in the process for Appointing ALAC voting Delegates to the NomCom are: 


 * ALAC Review of RALO Recommendations / Additional List of Nominations Accepted: 15 August -20 August 2012 
 * ALAC selection and endorsement vote: Carried out on-line Between 20 to 24 August 
 * Notification to NomCom of Appointees: No later than 25 August 2012 or as arranged with NomCom Secretariat
