I had previously undertaken to forward the GAC/Board meeting transcripts. 
Please see http://news.dot-nxt.com/2011/03/02/transcript-icann-gac-board which is even better than the transcripts and sets out nicely the topics discussed as well as the members that were most vocal.

Dear Carlos, 

I was present for both morning sessions (but missed the afternoon due to work), I am sharing my initial impressions but I would like to review the full transcript before giving a proper summary. 

Alot was discussed on the first day, at times it appeared that some of the GAC members were not as prepared as the Board members. The impression was that while they were very prepared in some areas, in others it seemed as if they want to institute restrictions but cannot suggest how the process should be modified. Worse yet, in some instances (eg. for generic words) it was felt that they want to go beyond what is present in existing legislation! 

The second day (today) has been a bit staggered, with a few initial speeches meant to refocus both groups on the contentious topic areas and a big gap during the day where both groups met separately (and no observers/remote participation was allowed). 

The transcripts will be available and I will be happy to forward them to the list (if staff does not do so).

Was a really pity, didn`t see anyone our ALAC representatives there, maximum when they have responsabilities to inform us. I guess this meeting will be the point of central debate in San Francisco, for that we need an excerpt before the meeting. Perhaps we could elaborate some statement about that. whta do you think about that?
