[Euro-board] Proposed text for announcing EURALO General Assembly in Berlin - please review

another step is to get the announcement out. Please be so kind to find
my proposed text here. Feedback highly appreciated, by Monday 4
November, close of business day. We need to make this email stand out as
much as possible so we either get confirmation of attendance (in person
or online) or a proxy appointment. As usual, quorum is very important.

Subject: IMPORTANT - EURALO General Assembly 2019  Berlin -
announcement, invitation and doodle

Dear EURALO members,

On behalf of EURALO’s Chair Olivier Crépin-Leblond and Secretariat
Olawale Bakare, and incoming Chair Sébastien Bachollet and Secretariat
Natalia Filina, in accordance with EURALO’s*[Link to NEW ARTICLES OF
ASSOCIATION] *this is the first announcement of the *EURALO General
Assembly 2019* *(Virtual)* to be held at the IGF 2019 in Berlin, Germany
on *Wednesday 26th November 2019*. The GA will be held between *17:00 -
18:30 pm *local time in the conference centre's meeting room ESTREL 3.

Please be so kind to review the Agenda and documents to be posted and be
prepared to participate!

*Important!*Please complete the doodle indicating if you are planning to
attend the General Assembly meeting in person:  *DOODLE LINK*

At-Large staff will send calendar invites including *Remote
Participation information* so you can participate *remotely *by dialling
in and via Adobe connect room.

At this stage you have three options:

1. attend the General Assembly (GA) in person: please indicate this on
the Doodle Poll.
2. attend the General Assembly remotely: instructions for attending in
this way will be sent out soon.
3. do not attend the General Assembly: in which case you can nominate a
*PROXY *to represent you. A proxy will need to attend the General
Assembly either in person, or remotely.
In order to nominate a proxy, email them, with a copy to
staff at atlarge.icann.org giving them details of your proxy. As per
practice in past General Assemblies, there will be a maximum of *two
*proxies possible per member present at the GA and staff will inform you
if a nominated proxy has exceeded their vote allocation and suggest
alternatives.

It is really important that you take action for one of these three
options above, as it is important that the General Assembly achieves quorum.
