HI Glenn,

"If you sacrifice a 'seasoned veteran' over a new person then we may  not
achieve our expected results".

Point taken but then.maybe the implementation of some kind of initiative to
groom the new persons.  The demand for expected results will be continuous,
strategic transition and inclusion will become more vital.
