[ALAC] NomCom selection of ALAC Members

In short, if you look back at the list of NomCom
appointees, you will find quite a few who did
very little during their two years but come to
meetings. Little contribution, little involvement
in any of our activities, etc.

If you look at the history of those appointed by
the NomCom more than once, you find very few
people. Some went on to other things in ICANN.
Others either chose not to continue, or reapplied and were not selected.

So the challenge is to try to attract people who
can be recognized by the NomCom as people who will become involved.
