[ALAC] FOR REVIEW: CCWG IG Charter & Amendment

Dear All,

Kindly follow this link and review the Charter of the Cross Community Working Group (CCWG) on Internet Governance: https://community.icann.org/x/lQInAw. this Charter was supposed to have been approved by the ALAC several months ago, but that unfortunately never happened.

Since the time the Charter was originally drafted, in the IANA Stewardship and Accountability WGs, the terms "Observers" has been replaced by the term "Participants". Also, the number is not limited and they do not require AC/SO approval to join.

The Charter as drafted has already been approved by the other AC/SOs. To avoid re-voting, all chartering organizations are being asked to accept that instead of the definition of "Observers" in the Charter, we agree to use to current "Participant" definition and process.

This will be further discussed at the ALAC meeting, and will be the subject of a BigPulse vote later this week.
