Hi Pawan,Normally a SIG in ISOC is not restricted by geographic or regional boundaries. While the applicant is from the region, many of the current office bearers of the SIG are located in other parts of the globe.Perhaps these aspects would be evaluated before deciding on the request.Regards Amrita
