[NA-Discuss] Domain hijacking story

Well, I would take serious issue with the statement that there are no
specific laws regarding domain hijacking or that a registrar could never be
held responsible for allowing a domain to be hijacked. I just got through
with a case involving a hijacked Google Apps cloud account and we found
plenty of law to cite.

I think the issue is whether there are efficient legal remedies,
particularly in trans-border disputes. The problems of lack of efficient
legal remedies, and enforcement across country borders, are neither unusual
nor peculiar to the domain name system.

Just a matter of time before this becomes a bigger issue.
