Jean,

You're right. In a perfect world you would have been informed of such, but what happened actually shows our efforts.

Instead of simply declaring eric ineligible we bent over backwards to get his SOI and fix the previous issue but eric did not cooperate with our efforts.

Wait a minute. I believe I seconded and was never informed that he was not a viable candidate. Shouldn't that have happened?
And if I had been informed I might have seconded another candidate? Something doesn't seem right here.
