[lac-discuss-es] Alguna palabras de la Secretaria de LACRALO/ Some words of LACRALO Secretary

Nada mejor que el paso del tiempo para darle equidad a las cosas. 

Y como a la señorita Cintra Sooknanan le gusta hablar de sentimientos y ella
"me acusa" de ser una secretaria de habla hispana, ahora las personas de
habla inglesa están "sintiendo" lo que las personas de habla hispana
sintieron desde la creación de LACRALO. Pero la cuestión aquí es dejar de
exaltar defectos y virtudes y trabajar JUNTOS  para que la región crezca sin
importar el idioma en que se trabaje. 

Este mes nosotros hemos tenido dos problemas muy graves con respecto a
traducción, 

además del eterno problema que tenemos en las listas y de los cuales la
señorita Cinta hizo referencia en su mensaje de hoy.

Me estoy refiriendo a la interpretación de la Regla 8, apuntada por Jose
Ovideo y al párrafo faltante de la regla 11.2 de Las Reglas de Procedimiento
en la versión de español. 

Estos problemas, quizás no se hayan detectado antes porque mi antecesor solo
trabajaba con los documentos en su versión en inglés! ( el mismo caso al que
yo hacía referencia anteriormente). 

Por suerte ahora contamos con el Grupo de trabajo de traducción, al que esta
secretaría le va a solicitar que cotejen todos los documentos de

LACRALO como uno de sus temas de estudio  y que si encuentran alguna
diferencia la envíen al departamento de traducciones de ICANN.

Esta secretaria está trabajando varias horas a diario ( inclusive fines de
semana) por y para LACRALO;

aunque no estoy haciendo nada más y nada menos que cumplir con mis
obligaciones y honrar el compromiso adquirido con esta comunidad en abril
2012.  

Estoy intentando aplicar y entender las reglas incompletas en los documentos
de LACRALO sobre las atribuciones y obligaciones del cargo de secretaría. 

También, yo no quiero dejar de agradecer la gran ayuda directa e indirecta
que me brinda el Staff, Dev Teelucksingh y Carlton Samuels en este arduo
trabajo.

And Miss Cintra Sooknanan like to talk about feelings and she "accused me"
of being a Spanish-speaking secretary, now English-speaking people are
"feeling" that the Spanish speakers felt from creating LACRALO. But the
point here is to stop exalting and weaknesses and work together for the
region to grow regardless of the language in which they work.
This month we have had two very serious problems with regard to translation,
addition to the perennial problem we have in the lists and of which Miss
Tape referred in his message today.
I am referring to the interpretation of Rule 8, suggested by Jose Ovideo and
missing paragraph of Rule 11.2 of the Rules of Procedure in the Spanish
version.

These problems, may not have been detected before because my predecessor was
only working with documents in the English version! (Same case referred to
above I).
Luckily now we have the work of translation WG, which this secretary is
going to request that all LACRALO documents will revised
 as one of their subjects of study and that if they find any difference will
sent to ICANN Translation department.
This secretary is working several hours every day (including weekends) for
LACRALO;
though I'm doing nothing more and nothing less than fulfill my obligations
and honor the commitment to this community in April 2012.
I'm trying to understand the rules apply and the incomplete LACRALO
documents on the powers and duties of the office of secretary.
Also, I do wish to thank the large direct and indirect aid it gives me the
Staff, Dev Teelucksingh and Carlton Samuels in this hard work.
