Hola a todos,



Hay 4 candidatos propuestos para el servir como representante de LACRALO en el

ALAC, por un período a iniciarse  en la reunión de ICANN de Diciembre de 2010

que finalizará en la última reunión de ICANN de 2012.



Los cuatro candidatos son (en orden alfabético):



Matías Altamira Gigena

José Luis Barzallo

Lance Hinds

Sergio Salinas Porto



Como se discutió previamente en la lista de correo LACRALO, habrá una
teleconferencia con todos los candidatos, abierta a los miembros de LACRALO,
la próxima semana.


La intención de la teleconferencia es para un debate cordial con los
candidatos en relación con ALAC, At-Large y en la que se responderán preguntas de

los integrantes de LACRALO.



Una encuesta será enviada a esta lista, pidiendo una fecha y hora adecuada para la teleconferencia.


En preparación para esto, los candidatos han sido invitados a presentar una

Declaración de interés (SOI) para el representante de LACRALO a ALAC

que se envió a
la wiki de LACRALO

Estas preguntas serán revisadas por los candidatos previamente para poder brindar sus respuestas en la
teleconferencia.


Después de la misma, la votación para elegir a un representante de ALAC

LACRALO comenzará. Cada ALS en LACRALO cuenta con un voto y será

enviada por correo electrónico una credencial, a un delegado por cada asociación, con las
 instrucciones específicas y una página web para emitir su voto.



Al final del periodo de votación, los votos se computarán según la regla

12.9 de las Reglas de Procedimiento (sistema según el cual, cada voto se pondera con un coeficiente de país),

y los resultados de la votación, incluyendo los votos emitidos y por el cual

los votantes serán presentados a todos LACRALO y ALAC, según el artículo 20 
que regulan el artículo 12.4

Dear all,



There are 4 candidates for the LACRALO representative to serve on the

ALAC for a term beginning at the end of the December 2010 ICANN

meeting to the 2012 ICANN's Annual General Meeting.



The four candidates are (in alphabetical order) :



Matias Altamira Gigena

José Luis Barzallo

Lance Hinds

Sergio Salinas Porto



As discussed previously on the LACRALO mailing list, there will be a

teleconference with all the candidates and LACRALO sometime next week.

The intent of the teleconference is for a cordial discussion by the

candidates regarding ALAC, At-Large and answering questions from

LACRALO.



A poll will be sent to this list, asking for a suitable date and time

for this teleconference within the next day or so.



In preparation for this, the candidates have been asked to submit a

Statement of Interest (SOI) for the LACRALO representative to ALAC

which will be posted to

the LACRALO wiki at

Also, if you in LACRALO have any questions for the candidates, please

These questions will be reviewed by the candidates and answered at the

teleconference.



After the teleconference, the vote to elect a ALAC representative from

LACRALO will begin. Each ALS in LACRALO will be

emailed specific instructions and a website to go to submit their vote.



At the end of the voting period, the votes are tallied as per rule

12.9 of the RoP (each vote is weighted with a country coefficient),

and the results of the vote, including the votes cast and by which

voter are presented to all of LACRALO and to ALAC, as per rule 20

governing rule 12.4
