Dear Region,

The LACRALO Working Group on Governance met to arrive at a proposal on the Regional Rotation for the Electoral Process that will begin with the next regional elections of 2019. Therefore, we are opening the proposal agreed by the LACRALO Working Group of Governance

Here is the proposal for this process:

The positions to choose and the subregions for each of them would be:

President -MERCOSUR (SUBREGION D) Vice President-CENTRAL AMERICA (SUBREGION A) Secretary -ANDES (SUBREGION B) Vice Secretary-CARIBBEAN (SUBREGION C) ALAC Member -MERCOSUR (SUBREGION D) [Excluded Argentina] Member of the NomCom -CARIBE (SUBREGION C)

In cases where there is only one candidate, in any position, the candidate will be considered elected by acclamation and without further need of a vote.

Voting will be open from Wednesday, June 12, 2019 16:00 UTC until Monday, June 17, 2019 23:59 UTC.
