After more than 3 years that the LAC Strategic Plan and the creation of the Steering Committee were presented, we have been informed that a restructuring will be carried out in order to involve new members of the community in order to have an active participation and review the said Plan.



To this end, the working group will be composed of: i) Council of the Strategic Plan LAC and ii) Implementation Committee.



The first (ie, the LAC Strategic Plan Council) will be composed of 12 members of the LAC community, these members will represent the OSs and CAs of ICANN. Each organization (GAC, LACRALO, gNSO, ccNSO and ASO) must elect members to serve on the board. Its role will be to do the planning, which includes setting the objectives, projects and indicators each time the Strategy is renewed. In addition, the Council will annually review the progress of the LAC Strategy.



The second (ie the Implementation Committee) is composed of community members and the call will be open. Opportunely GSE will give us greater scope.



Based on the above, we have requested two (02) LACRALO people to belong to the LAC Strategic Plan Council. In that sense, those interested in participating, please send by internal a brief expression of interest until Tuesday, October 24 until 23 UTC in order to be able to evaluate and define the candidacies.
