Dear All,

The deadline to apply to ICANN's Fellowship Program to attend the 43rd
ICANN meeting in Costa Rica is November 14 2011.

The ICANN Fellowship Program is a grant of support awarded to
individuals from stakeholder groups around the world to attend ICANN
meetings.
The 43rd ICANN meeting will be held in San Jose, Costa Rica from March
11 to 16 in 2012.

As mentioned on the ICANN's Fellowship Page at
http://www.icann.org/en/fellowships/ :

Applicants must be citizens of economically eligible countries.
ICANN's Fellowship Program uses a combination of the World Bank
classification of low, lower-middle, and upper-middle economies at
http://data.worldbank.org/about/country-classifications/country-and-lending-groups
, along with two UN groupings of developing and least developed
nations at http://www.unohrlls.org/en/sids/44/ and
http://www.unohrlls.org/en/ldc/25/ .

The fellowship covers the cost of economy class airfare and hotel, as
well as providing a stipend after successful completion of the
program, in order to assist in covering some basic expenses incurred
by the fellow. Recipients are expected to actively contribute to ICANN
processes and be a part of the next generation of ICANN leadership.
