I did not rise objection because we agree with you that we would 
review the situation ALAC/france at large after the end of the Semaine 
de l'Internet Mondial de Paris, as we proposed to call the different 
events in Paris since EGENI. During that week we had friendly talks 
together, and quick social contact with only one person of the Staff.

Je n'ai pas soulevé d'objection car nous étions d'accord que nous 
reverions la situation ALAC/france at large après la fin de la Semaine 
de l'Internet Mondial de Paris, comme nous avions proposé de nommer 
les différents évennements à Paris depuis EGENI. Durant cette semaine 
nous avons eu des conversations amicales entre nous, et de brefs 
contacts de pure convivialité avec une seule personne du Personnel.

france at large yearly quick-off meeting.

la journée de lancement annuelle de france at large.

The adopted line of action in five points towards a "better internet 
for each of us" includes political, normative, intertesting and PR 
actions to increase the awarness and the response to the other four 
points concerning the more @large specific needs of: a new 
multilingual distributed referential system for the use of the 
Internet, the documentation of the Intersem as the Semantic and 
Multilingual Internet, the ML-DNS and the Multilinc deployment, and 
the introduction of a Network Interoperations System.

La ligne d'action adoptée en cinq points vers un "meilleur internet 
pour chacun" inclut des action politiques, normatives, d'intertest et 
de relations publiques pour sensibiliser et obtenir des coopérations 
sur les autres points qui concernent des besoins plus spécifiquement 
@alarge : un nouveau systeme référentiel multilingue et distribué 
pour l'usage de l'Internet, la documentation de l'Intersem comme 
l'Internet Semantique et Multilingue, le déploiement ML-DNS et

As indicated in a previous mail this poses the question of the ICANN 
status as discussed in Paris, paricularly through the IIC sessions 
and by the Minister Besson, and the place of this debate by the 
users: ALAC and/or ISOC and/or a new dedicated place. We certainly 
are attentive to the comments of everyone and do not want to put 
anyone under pressure. However, there is a calendar. We have a French 
intergovernance meeting on monday next. We have to prepare positions 
before the European ministry level meeting of Nice on Oct 6/7 if we 
want to have our input considered in the European Position of Nov 26, 
and benefit of the resulting world awareness in Hyderabad.

Comme indiqué dans mon mail précédent ceci pose la question du statut 
de l'ICANN comme discuté à Paris, en particulier durant les sessions 
sur l'IIC et par le Ministre Besson, et le lieu de ce débat par les 
utilisateurs: l'ALAC et/ou ISOC et/ou un nouveau lieu spécialisé. 
Nous sommes certainement attentifs aux commentaire de tous et nous ne 
voulons mettre personne sous pression. Cependant il y a un 
calendrier. Nous avons une réunion française d'intergouvernance lundi 
prochain. Nous avons à préparer des positions avant le rendez-vous 
ministeriel de Nice des 6/7 octobre si nous voulons avoir nos 
contributions prises en considération par la position européenne du 
26 Novembre, et qu'elles bénéficient de l'attention du monde à Hyderabad.

I therefore need to see the Euralo definitly clarify its position 
regarding france at large before Sunday as we want to clearly indicate 
on Monday where france at large intends to discuss an Internet @large 
position on the Sufficient Safeguarding ICANN Against Capture and its 
current level of possible capture.

J'ai donc besoin que la position d'Euralo concernant france at large 
soit définitivement clarifiée avant dimanche car nous voulons 
clairement indiquer lundi où france at large entend discuter la position 
@large des utilisateurs pilotes de l'Internet sur la protection 
suffisante de l'ICANN contre sa capture et son niveau de capture 
éventuelle actuel.
