[At-Large] EPDP on IDNs: GNSO Council approves EPDP on Phase 1 Final Report

Dear all

I'm happy to report that the GNSO Council has approved the Phase 1 Final
Report of the EPDP on IDNs, adopting all the 69 recommendations.

Special thanks to Justine, who was the Vice Chair of the EPDP until very
recently, and also to ALAC colleagues on the EPDP Team, Hadia and
Abdulkarim.

During the GNSO Council monthly meeting held earlier today, 21 December 2023,
all councilors present on the call approved the EPDP on Internationalized
Domain Names Phase 1 Final Report.



On behalf of the GNSO Council, thank you to leadership, members,
participants, and liaisons on the IDNs EPDP team for your commitment and
hard work in completing the Phase One effort of this EPDP.
