Latin  America has NO proved case in any of our countries , if there is a region with less risk is here. Our ATRT3 group went to Brussels two weeks ago, ) ( a hub of people in Europe), I personally stopped in Lisbon, lots of Asian people ( all them with mask since they have a communitarian behavior)  crowded airport due the weather conditions in Brussels, but no special issues I saw or our other colleagues that went from different parts of the world.
 But it is decided and I do not want to waste more time discussing reality. Just would suggest KL be also cancelled or changed to other region as could be NZ or Australia in that region.

Hi Judith,
in the last 10-11 days, I have travelled via about 10 airports (Manchester (UK), London (UK), London Gatwick (UK), Lagos (Nigeria), Abuja (Nigeria), Ilorin (Nigeria),  Doha) (Qatar), Addis- Ababa (Ethiopia)  Melbourn (Australia) and  Perth (Australia) airports).
From my experience, things were relatively normal as only a few people were having a face mask on. I didn't use a face mask. The only thing I noticed especially in the big airports was that few Chinese passengers were flying and temperate measuring device was used in all the Nigeria airports, But I think those have been in place since the Ebola outbreak. I also noticed that there was periodic announcement about anyone feeling unwell and it was easy to navigate through the airports.
 The only inconvenience for me was that I rescheduled my flight and avoided travelling via Hong Kong which would have offered me a  shorter connecting time cos the fear of the virus
 But in general, I think there is no need to panic

As you know, ICANN org is actively monitoring developments worldwide concerning the novel coronavirus (2019-nCov). We take the health and safety of our staff, Board and community members very seriously and wish to do the right thing to continue to ensure that everyone remains safe and informed. In this regard, you may have heard that some international conference organizers are, like ICANN, monitoring and evaluating the locations and timings of their events. Earlier today, the GSM Association (GSMA) announced that it was canceling the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that had been scheduled to take place in Barcelona from 24-27 February 2020.
