[ALAC] CALL FOR MEMBERSHIP: At-Large ALS Criteria and Expectations Taskforce

[ICANN At-Large Staff]

Dear All,

On behalf of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, this is a call for Members and Participants of the At-Large ALS Criteria and Expectations Taskforce.

The ALAC has chartered this Taskforce which will recommend to the ALAC:

- A revised set of criteria for all ALSes
- Expectations of how RALO's, the ALAC and ICANN At-Large Staff will engage ALSes
- Expectations of ALS participation

The Taskforce will be chaired by Alan Greenberg, and Membership will include three people from each region:

- One ALAC member per region (to be selected by the ALAC Members from each region); and
- Two people selected by the regional leadership (according to the RALO practices).

Other members of the At-Large Community may join the group as Participants if they wish. If you are interested, write to At-Large staff at: staff at atlarge.icann.org<mailto:staff at atlarge.icann.org>.

The TF will be meeting WEEKLY with the intent of completing its work by ICANN54 in October.

There is a Discussion Paper<https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=54691888> posted there that may be of interest, but it is just the start of the review.

Next Steps:

The first call of the At-Large ALS Criteria and Expectations Taskforce will be held the week of 3 August 2015.

A Doodle will be sent to Members identified by Thursday, 30 July 2015.
