[ALAC] Fwd: Correction: Response to the ALAC Statements on Community Applications

Dear Olivier,

Given the norms of bureaucracy and Board responses, I doubt that we will
get a response that is different than the one that has been sent to you by
Cherine.

This means that either the NGPC is really confused or they are choosing to
ignore the issue of community expertise in the CPE.

Rather than wasting time with the going back and forth on clarifying which
statement is what, I propose that you send the attached correspondence as
immediate follow up.  This will quickly de-confuse the NGPC in terms of
what exactly we mean.  In addition, it will serve as the "additional detail
regarding these topics" that they are expecting us to send to them "in the
near future".

In terms of process, I propose that you put this correspondence up for ALAC
consensus during the call on Tuesday, after which I urge you to send it
onwards tout suite.
