Justine and Cheryl welcome you to join them in an informal conversation on a few key aspects of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO)'s operating procedure for consensus policy development for Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs). Given that a significant
proportion of the At-Large Community's participation in ICANN policy-making is centered around its contributions towards consensus policies on gTLDs, it would be helpful for the At-Large Community to understand how the GNSO policy development process (GNSO
PDP) works, and where and when At-Large participation in GNSO PDPs is needed. This can be facilitated through a general appreciation of the GNSO Operating Procedures and Related Documents such as the Policy Development Process (PDP) Manual, the Expedited GNSO
Policy Development Process (EPDP) Manual, the GNSO Guidance Process (GGP) Manual, as well as the implementation of GNSO PDP 3.0 in introducing incremental improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of GNSO PDPs.<br>
