The impact is better explained by using an example: </font></div><div class="gmail_default"><font size="4" face="verdana, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div class="gmail_default"><ol><li><font size="4" face="verdana, sans-serif">An end-user uses an application to help in finding additional information for a project all the time.</font></li><li><font size="4" face="verdana, sans-serif">The domain that the application uses is hijacked via a domain transferred between Registrars. </font></li><li><font size="4" face="verdana, sans-serif">The impact to the end-user is that, for no apparent reason, the application has disappeared and something else has replaced it or worse, the application looks the same but now it is used to gather personal information without your knowledge.
