Sinopsis:

*"This talk looks at the history, development and current deployment of the
Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC).  Who created it and why?
How does it work? How does it prevent some forms of DNS Abuse? What things
it cannot do? Is it well deployed? If not, what are the roadblocks? Is it
here to stay or will it evolve into something else in the future? and
more…The DNSSEC is a set of specifications that extend the Domain Name
System (DNS) protocol by adding cryptographic authentication for responses
received from authoritative DNS servers. Its goal is to defend against DNS
Abuse techniques that hackers use to direct computers to rogue websites and
servers.*

*The talk will be presented in a "no-so-technical language".*
