[NA-Discuss] Decertification of an ALS

To interject on this thread....

1 - Level of participation is very subjective.  Who is to judge the
subjectiveness, and on what parameters?

2 - Participating in the online discussions for some becomes very daunting.
2a - Just keeping up with the emails can be a full-time job.
2b - Personally, I haven't been as involved in the discussions as much as
I'd like to because 90% of the discussions are nonsense.
2c - These discussions tend to be highly unfocused and irrelevant.
2d - It's been said before that the constant 'bickering' is unproductive,
and leads to people not wanting to be involved.
2e - Many people it seems avoid the online discussions because it has little
impact (other than stroking one's ego) anyway.

3 - It seems we have been discussing the same issues since NARALO came into
effect.  It is the same discussions over and over, with the same people having
the same viewpoints, and nobody seems to understand how to work together toward
a goal.

4 - The agreed-upon criteria is already stated and in effect.  However, there
will be those who have nothing better to do but see things in their own light
and become judgemental toward everyone else.  It is those people who we need to
be cautious of.

Subject: Re: [NA-Discuss] Decertification of an ALS

Salut Alan and all of you,

Concerning rule 16, I just want to add that more participation would be
great. Sometimes, it's not possible in context. Days are only 25 hours,
and there's only 8 days a week ;-) . Missing time is not a lack of
interest. This doesn't mean that «non-participating» member are
«inactive» and that they don't follow this thread weekly.
