SSAC Organizational Review: Publication of the Independent Consultants' Report

17 February 2009

In October 2008 ICANN appointed JAS Communications as the consultants for the independent review of the SSAC, the Security and Stability Advisory Committee. 

The role of the Committee is to advise the ICANN community and Board on matters relating to the security and integrity of the Internet's naming and address allocation systems. For more information about SSAC, see http://www.icann.org/committees/security/

JAS Communications just released their draft Final Report for public presentation and discussion at the Mexico City meeting. 

The independent consultants' report http://www.icann.org/en/reviews/ssac/ssac-review-final-16feb09.pdf [PDF, 677K] is published here in English. Translation of the Executive Summary in the 5 further UN languages will follow shortly, while the translation of the whole report will be published after Mexico meeting.
