In Germany we have a lot of Dialekte (Bavarian, Saxonian, Berlinerisch, Schwäbisch. Rheinländisch etc. ). But Sorbisch is an officially recognized minority language.<br>

Following the interest shown at IGF Italy to the session about use of the Internet by cultural and linguistic minorities - the panel included the communities speaking furlan (Friuli), sardo (Sardinia) and arbëreshë (Calabria) - I believe that we can try a similar
session at the European level. I have also contacted UNESCO, who is very much interested, given also that next year marks the beginning of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages - 2022-2032.<br>

Are you part of, or in contact with, any local community that speaks a language that is not the official language of the country? If so, if there is any interest in raising issues related to local languages and cultures I suggest you submit a topic in the EuroDIG
