Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) which operates the
.ca domain name does occasional outreach exercises to
calibrate their community investment program. The link below
goes to such a recent survey which went out to recipients
of this grant. The description of this survey group come
pretty close to the end users we are looking for. Maybe we

to organizations across Canada through a survey, phone
interviews and video interviews to help identify key issues,
needs and funding gaps with respect to internet
infrastructure, digital access, digital literacy and funding
gaps. In particular, CIRA sought out grassroots
organizations and individuals working in and around Canada’s
internet, including not-for-profits, charities, academics
and small internet service providers. The survey CIRA shared
with organizations in Canada sought to learn more about
their perspectives, experiences and challenges. Follow-up
interviews were conducted with some participants.

are deeply impacted by what goes on here. We don't need
them to join an ALS or even care about ICANN, but we do
need to know their opinions of how DNS policies and
practises affect their use and trust of the Internet.<br>
