We have observed community discussions and received comments and questions
about ICANN's top-level domain (TLD) Registry Agreement assignment approval
process and a recent Urgent Reconsideration Request considered by the ICANN
Board Accountability Mechanisms Committee (BAMC). We believe it is
important to provide context to some of these discussions.
