Worse than regulation itself, is the danger of "asymmetric"
regulation!!! 

you have put the finger of the wound of the GeoNames so far quite
fruitless discussion. Is hard to keep the regulatory discussion
focussed, if 45% of domain names work under different competitive and
regulatory conditions.........
