In our experience, you must always be alert for copycat legislation from
the US to your part of the world, whether coerced or just plain fellow
traveling.

This draft bill it requires expressed consent for any surveillance-type
capabilities to be placed on mobile devices.   A pushback from the
Congressman from Massachusetts and ranking member of House Committee
usually in oversight on these matters...
