[At-Large] a non-report on new gTLD

Thank you for your note, Izumi.

We made exactly the same remark to Kurt Pritz and his staff in Dakar,
that local ALSes had not been contacted prior to a new gTLD road-show
meeting taking place in a country, thus several of our ALSes missed out
on being able to participate in the new gTLD meetings.
The response that was given, was that the schedule of forthcoming
meetings was open for all to see and could be found on:
http://newgtlds.icann.org/program-status/upcoming-events

Due to the ever changing and evolving nature of such meetings, with some
of them being announced at short notice, we were told that this was the
most efficient and reliable way of finding out where the gTLD road show
was going. Also, if you are staging a new gTLD event in your part of the
world, you may contact staff who will make sure that your event is
reflected in the public calendar reference above.

Kind regards,

Olivier
