[APAC-Discuss] Fellowship Applications for inSIG 2022 Now Open

Hi,

 

For those who may be interested and a request to please spread in your
communities.

 

The Fellowship Application for the 2022 edition of the India School on
Internet Governance (inSIG2022 <https://insig.in)/> ) is now open.

 

This seventh edition of inSIG will be a face-to-face edition hosted by
Hyderabad Chapter. inSIG is jointly organized by the six ISOC Chapters -
Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Trivandrum and Hyderabad. The tentative
dates are 25-27 Sep 2022  with Day 0 on 24 Sept.

 

Fellowship categories:

 

*	Indian Fellows (25 seats) with travel (a/c 3-tier train fare by the
most direct rail route), twin-sharing accommodation and fee waiver
*	International Fellows (15 seats) with twin-sharing accommodation and
fee waiver but with no travel support.
*	inSIG Alumni are also welcome to apply for the current edition of
inSIG. 

 

Process to apply:

All applicants are required to apply in the Fellowship Application form on
the APNIC Fellowship Management System available here (requires
registration): http://fellowship.apnic.net

 

Who can apply?

 

*	Any individual from India, from any stakeholder community
(Government, Business, Civil Society, Technical or Academia), who has an
interest in Internet Governance, and has in the past contributed or wishes
to contribute to IG processes, may apply for this programme as an Indian
Fellow.
*	Any individual from any part of the world can apply as an
International Fellow. International Fellows are expected to raise funds for
their travel and accommodation charges, but accommodation would be provided
by inSIG2022.

 

Timelines:

Fellowships Applications will be open from 1st May 2022 to 10th June 2022.
Results will be communicated by end of June 2022.

 

Selection Criteria:

 

Fellowship applicants will be selected by the Selection Committee based on
different criteria such as background, experience and contributions and
keeping in mind parameters such as geographical and gender balance and
diversity.
