Hearty congratulations to Edmon Chung for becoming a new ICANN Board member
and no doubt another supporter for At-Large and Internet end-user
perspectives. We are very fortunate that we will now have two sets of ears
listening to our views and presenting them in the most appropriate way to
Board discussions.

For us in the Asia Pacific region it is great news that Asia Pacific now
joins LAC and the African regions in gaining more representatives who can
bring broader, developing country perspectives to Board decision-making. It
will be interesting to see how Org's operating initiatives pan out over the
next few years with these changing dynamics on the Board.

Congrats again Edmon, and also to our new ALAC members - Raymond, Laura and
Naveed.
