[APAC-Discuss] FY22 Additional Budget Request Process - ALS budget request submissions due on 1 January 2021, 23:59 UTC

Dear APRALO Community,

We wish to remind you that the *FY22 Additional Budget Request (ABR)*
process is in progress.

The At-Large FY22 Budget Development Workspace (see:
https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+FY22+Budget+Development+Workspace)
provides key information, including:

   - FY22 ALAC/ALT Plus Criteria for Additional Budget Requests
   - Important Documents and Resources from ICANN Finance: (including
   information on the process, the principles for ABR proposals, and the FY22
   template request form)
   - Timeline for the At-Large FY 22 ABR process


If your ALS is intending to submit an ABR, we strongly encourage you to
attend the *Finance and Budget Sub-Committee (FBSC) call scheduled for
Monday, 14 December between 17:00 – 18:00 UTC* (see:
https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/2020-12-14+Finance+and+Budget+Subcommittee+Working+Group+Call)
as it will focus on the FY22 ABR process, including a presentation by the
ICANN Finance Department as well as details on the key information listed
above.

Please note that all RALO requests should be strategic and in line with the
following:

   - *The APRALO FY21 strategic outreach plans *(see:
   https://community.icann.org/display/CRALO/APRALO+Regional+FY21+Outreach+and+Engagement+Strategic+Plan);
   and
   - *The At-Large 2021 Workplan* (see:
   https://community.icann.org/display/alacexcomm/2020-11-19++2021+At-Large+Leadership+Intro+and+Leadership+Development+Call?preview=/151848017/151848298/At-Large%20WorkPlan%202021-Final%2018-11-20.docx)



As the RALO Leadership Team plans to review any ALS request or may complete
a template on behalf of the RALO, *please submit your ABR(s) to
APAC-Discuss at atlarge-lists.icann.org <APAC-Discuss at atlarge-lists.icann.org>
and staff at atlarge.icann.org <staff at atlarge.icann.org> by 1 January 2021,
23:59 UTC* for endorsement by the RALO so that the Leadership Team can
finalize any RALO submission to staff by the deadline of 8 January 2021.
Ony endorsed ABRs will be forwarded for onward consideration by the FBSC.
