Dear All,

The Capacity Building Working Group (CBWG) leadership would like to continue the dialogues begun during the “Art of Small Talk” workshop<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/2021-11-29+At-Large+Capacity+Building+Webinar%3A+At-Large+Intercultural+Virtual+Workshop> held on 29 November 2021.

On behalf of the CBWG leadership,  this is a call for interested community members willing to share a specific story, or case study, with the working group.

Specifically, we seek real-life stories where cultural differences have impacted communication and how those situations were resolved.

The CBWG plans to incorporate these real-life experiences into their ongoing trainings navigating the art of small talk in a multicultural environment.

Community members are requested to please indicate their interest to share their real-life story of challenging communication in a multicultural environment, and also send a brief summary of their story, to At-Large Staff by Friday, 21 January 2022.

Chers Tous,

La direction du groupe de travail sur le renforcement des capacités (CBWG) souhaite poursuivre les dialogues entamés lors de l’atelier “Art of Small Talk| (L’art des Banalités) qui s’est tenu le 29 novembre 2021.

Au nom de la direction du CBWG, il s’agit ‘un appel aux membres de la communauté intéressés désireux de partage rune histoire spécifique ou une étude de cas, avec le groupe de travail.

Plus précisément, nous recherchons des histoires réelles où les différences culturelles ont eu un impact sur la communication et comment ces situation ont été résolues.

Le CBWG prévoit d’intégrer ces expériences de la vie réelle dans ses formations continues naviguant dans l’art de la conversation dans un environnement multiculturel.

Les membres de la communauté sont priés d’indiquer leur intérêt à partager leur histoire réelle de communication difficile dans un environnent multiculturel, et également d’envoyer un bref résumé de leur histoire au personnel d’At-Large d’ici le vendredi 21 janvier 2022.
