[AFRI-Discuss] CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: ALAC Operations, Finance and Budget Sub-Committee

Dear All,

On behalf of Ricardo Holmquist, Chair of the newly expanded ALAC Operations, Finance and Budget Sub-Committee<https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=132940946> (OFB-SC), this is a call for participants to this group.

The OFB-SC is a geographically diverse group that is comprised of members and participants. Members have been selected by the RALOS and consist of one ALAC member and one community member from each of the five RALOs. These RALO representatives are the voters on any financial matters, for example, Additional Budget Requests (ABRs). The current 2019-2020 members will remain in place in the new OFB-SC.

The OFB-SC is tasked with preparing statements and requests related to ICANN finance and budget, strategy, and operational initiatives, including the Multi-stakeholder Model and organizational reviews.

The tasks of the OFB-SC include, but are not limited to:


  *   Coordination of Annual Additional Budget Requests from the ALAC and RALOs, to go into the yearly ICANN budget
  *   Drafting any statement related to the ICANN budget process
  *   Drafting any statement regarding ICANN's operational initiatives
  *   Drafting any statement related to the ICANN strategic plan and processes
