[AFRI-Discuss] [AFRALO-Internal] Stepping Down and a Nomination for AfRALO Chair position

Dear Members,

Let me this opportunity to congratulate Mohamed el Bashir for the Job well
done and to appreciate and support the nomination of Seun as Chair of
AFRALO. I greatly admire the active participation of Seun in the activities
of ICANN, particularly at the level ALAC. I am of the conviction that he
will bring similar enthusiasm   to AFRALO.

I also appreciate the Leadership and active role Aziz continues to play in
AFRALO and I believe we still need his experience, I therefore support his
nomination as Vice Chair.

I partially to agree with Pastor Peter, however, others  should be willing
to voluntarily show up and ready to take up  active participation. It is
sometime a real challenge to share ones time between regular professional
duties and at the same time play active role in voluntary organizations
like AFRALO. I must commend these guy who are doing great job.

As proposed by Pastor Peter for new breeds to take up leadership position,
 I would like admonish all ALSes  Members in AFRALO  as well as individuals
members to begin playing more active role in the activities of our RALO, I
think as a result of our participation, we will see the leadership trait of
others.

Congratulations to our incoming leaders and all of us for supporting them
