[AFRI-Discuss] Selection Committee - Update

Dear All, 

The Nomcom representative selection committee has received 4 nominations, approved 2 nominations to proceed to the final voting stage after lengthy deliberation.

One nomination was not selected for not meeting all the criteria requirements and another nomination was not selected due to a technical issue in the process and perceived conflict of the interest, to avoid it as a result  Dave Kissoondoyal has resigned from the selection committee.

Although it's a challenge to complete this process is this tight time frame, our goal was to ensure the integrity of the process, selecting candidates who meet ALAC criteria beside allowing the community to vote and select AfRALO Nomcom representative.
