Hi Mohamed
Not meaning in any way to be directive during your elections, I was merely
making a light-hearted observation on something which I wanted to note in
light of your initial nominations.
I am truly hoping that there will be some consideration across all our
RALOs for an inclusive approach to regional leadership and in fact, to all
aspects of the work we undertake within our RALOs, across At-Large and
within ICANN.
We should be encouraging of people to apply for these vacant positions
during this election regardless of their backgrounds, gender, ethnicity or
degree of disability. All I am interested in is their passion for getting
in behind the At-Large banner and bringing their end-user voices and views
to the policy debates we contribute to within ICANN.
