First I would like to thank you for your trust as my term ends as AfRALO
vice chair, it was an honor serving AfRALO community.


As the nominations announcement by At-Large staff is open I would like to
nominate Aziz for the position of AFRALO representative within NomCom.


During his two terms as President of AFRALO, Aziz has been a very active
leader and has carried out various actions that have made AFRALO today one
of the most active RALOs within ALAC.


He has contributed effectively to the improvement of our Organization by
conducting several outreach and engagement actions through the organization
of several webinars and training (on-site and virtual). During his term,
the number of ALSs has doubled to be more than 50 members. He was the
leader of the organization of the 55th African ICANN meeting held in
Marrakech, whichwas a great success and a record of almost 1,000 African
participants.


Because of his experience and skills, I am convinced that he will represent
Africa effectively at NomCom.

Je voudrais tout d'abord vous remercier pour votre confiance, car mon
mandat se termine en tant que vice-président d'AfRALO, il a été utile de
servir la communauté.


À l'ouverture de l'annonce des nominations par le personnel At-Large,
j'aimerais nommer Aziz pour le poste de représentant AFRALO au sein de
NomCom.


Durant ses deux mandats de président d’AFRALO, Aziz a été un leader très
actif et a mené de nombreuses actions qui ont fait qu’AFRALO est
aujourd’hui l’une des RALO le plus actif au sein d’ALAC. Il a contribué
efficacement à l’amélioration de notre Organisation en menant plusieurs
actions de sensibilisation et d’engagement par l’organisation de plusieurs
webinaires et des formations (sur site et virtuel). Durant son mandat le
nombre d’ALS a doublé et atteint aujourd’hui plus que 50 membres. Il a
dirigé l'organisation de la 55ème réunion de l'ICANN africaine qui s’est
tenue à Marrakech et qui a connu un grand succès et un record de presque
1000 participants Africains.


De part son expérience et ses compétences, je suis convaincu qu’il
représentera efficacement et dignement l’Afrique au NomCom.
