[AFRI-Discuss] Finalizing Individual Membership Recommendation

Hi everyone,

Though i didn't fully take part in the GA meeting, due to other committments (and i am sorry for that), i always had the feeling that individual members should be given some level of rights in Afralo to allow more effective participation from individuals as well. I was glad when the review strongly asked for it. I am also in support that they should be given rights gradually.

I hereby give my support to this call by the Chair.

Also and very important, i call on the Chair to quickly respond to Peters quieries who, as an effective member, has that right to be heard and his concerns raised. I always encourage this type of reactions which gives the community another lecture of the matter under discussion and this should be encouraged.

Seun, thanks for sharing your thoughts but as you stated, you are not responding on behalf of the Chair, so we hope to hear from him before the expiration of the deadline he gave.

I would also strongly request the ROP chair to be timely in calling on meetings on important issues. I have joined the working group but i am yet to receive an invitation to the discussion around the tenure as well as on this specific subject of membership.
