Comme vous le savez, un consultant extérieur à ICANN (ITEMS) a été chargé de faire la révision (pardonnez la traduction pas très exacte du terme anglais « review ») d’At-Large, une pratique courante à ICANN. Ce consultant a remis son premier rapport https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/atlarge-review-draft-report-31jan17-en.pdf <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/atlarge-review-draft-report-31jan17-en.pdf> qui est actuellement mis au commentaire publique https://www.icann.org/public-comments/atlarge-review-draft-report-2017-02-01-en <https://www.icann.org/public-comments/atlarge-review-draft-report-2017-02-01-en> qui sera clos le 24 Mars 2017.

L’avis des ALS est très important dans cette opération puisque les recommendations de ce rapport touche profondément les fondements d’At-Large et particulièrement les ALS. C’est pourquoi je vous prie tous de contribuer à la réponse de l’ALAC à ce rapport.

Un tableau à 8 colonnes:
Les titres des sujets du rapport
le contenu de ces sujets
Le commentaire de l’ALAC
le commentaire de chacun des 5 RALO

Vous pouvez soit:
commenter sur la 1ère mouture de la réponse de l’ALAC via le google docs
mettre vos commentaires à chaque sujet dans la colonne dédiée à AFRALO en mentionnant le nom de votre ALS
Utiliser l’option « commentaire » en bas de la page

Nous voulons finaliser la réponse de l’ALAC à Copenhagen; il serait donc souhaitable de recevoir vos commentaires avant le 11 Mars 2017 pour pouvoir les inclure.

As you know, an external reviewer (ITEMS) has been tasked to review the At-Large, a common practice at ICANN. ITEMS submitted its first report https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/atlarge-review-draft-report-31jan17-en.pdf <https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/atlarge-review-draft-report-31jan17-en.pdf> which is now under public comment https://www.icann.org/public-comments/atlarge-review-draft-report-2017-02-01-en <https://www.icann.org/public-comments/atlarge-review-draft-report-2017-02-01-en> closing on 24 March 2017.

The opinion of ALSes is very important in this operation since the recommendations of this report impact deeply the foundation of At-Large, and specifically the ALSes. That’s why I ask you kindly to contribute in the ALAC statement on the ITEMS report.

Comment on the google docs
comment on each of the topics in the AFRALO column of the table
make use of the comment option at the bottom of the page

We want to finalize the ALAC statement in Copenhagen; It would be helpful if you make your comments by 10 March 2017 to be included in the statement.
