Shall we consider the First theme as the approved one? " explore the ways in which members of AFRALO/AFRICANN can
support the new initiatives by ICANN to reach out to all stakeholders".

We also need the Agenda so that it can be sent to translation services ASAP.

Following a call to propose a theme for next AFRALO/AfrICANN Joint meeting at ICANN 49 in Singapore, I am pleased to inform you that we received two
suggestions:

1.        " explore the ways in which members of AFRALO/AFRICANN can
support the new initiatives by ICANN to reach out to all stakeholders".
 Put the focus on what we can do for ICANN not just ask for things from them(Suggested by Ben Fuller)



2.       " importance of communication plan in the African  region So as to
boost ICANN activities in Africa,(Suggested by Mamadou Lo)



the first theme proposed has been supported by more members for consideration. We wish to request that Ben Fuller come up with the first draft.  We also wish to call for volunteer to join the drafting committee.

Suite à un appel de proposer un thème pour la prochaine réunion conjoint d'AFRALO/AfrICANN à l'ICANN 49 à Singapour, je suis heureux de vous informer que nous avons reçu deux suggestions :



1.      "explorer les façons dont membres de AFRALO/AFRICANN peuvent
prendre en charge les nouvelles initiatives de l'ICANN à tendre la main à toutes les parties prenantes". Mettre l'accent sur ce que nous pouvons faire pour l'ICANN pas seulement demander des choses d'ICANN (suggérée par Ben Fuller)



2.      << importance du plan de communication afin de soutenir les
activités de l'ICANN en Afrique, dans les pays d'Afrique dans la région de l'ICANN (suggéré par Mamadou Lo)



Le premier thème proposé a été soutenu par plus de membres aux fins d'examen.. Nous souhaitons demander que Ben Fuller commencer  avec la première ébauche. Nous souhaitons également appel aux volontaires à rejoindre le Comité de rédaction.
