As set out in paragraph 3 of the Board Liaison Election Process 2009 (see:
https://st.icann.org/alac-docs/index.cgi?board_liaison_process_2009), 
“A special purpose teleconference shall be arranged not earlier than 18th
September and not later than 20th September at which the candidates shall be
provided an equal length of time to speak about their candidature (the
length to be determined by the Chair of the ALAC in advance). This will be
followed by Q&A. All members of the At-Large community shall be invited to
attend the teleconference, which shall be recorded and transcribed and
conducted in English, Spanish, and French through the use of interpreters.”

                              

On the AFRALO teleconference of 2 September, there was interest in holding
an additional call with the Board Liaison nominees only for the AFRALO
region.   We would like to suggest that AFRALO members first participate in
the At-Large community call (to include French interpretation) so that the
other regions will benefit from hearing the interests and questions asked by
AFRALO community members.  If at the end of the At-Large community call,
AFRALO members would still like to schedule an additional call, a date/time
could be arranged with the Board Liaison nominees and AFRALO members at that
time. 

 

A doodle for the At-Large community call will be sent out shortly.

Sur la téléconférence AFRALO du 2 Septembre, on a intérêt à tenir un appel
supplémentaire avec les candidats de liaison conseil seulement pour la
région AFRALO. Nous voudrions suggérer que les membres participent AFRALO
première fois dans At-Large communauté (y compris d'interprétation en
français) afin que les autres régions bénéficieront d'entendre les intérêts
et les questions posées par les membres de la communauté AFRALO. Si à la fin
de At-Large communauté, les membres AFRALO voudrais encore de programmer un
appel supplémentaire, une date / heure pourraient être organisées avec les
candidats et les membres du Conseil de liaison AFRALO à cette époque.
