[AFRI-Discuss] Draft AFRALO Bylaws/Operating Principles -

As agreed during last month’s AFRALO teleconference, the AFRALO
teleconference taking place on Wednesday, 2 September will discuss the draft
AFRALO Bylaws. 

 

Version 2 of the draft AFRALO Bylaws have incorporated the previous comments
that were submitted by Tijani and Fatimata. 

 

At-Large staff have developed a Version 3 of the draft AFRALO Bylaws that
retains the majority of the provisions in Version 2, yet ensures the text is
compliant with ICANN Bylaws.

After discussion with Mohamed and Yaovi, in addition, At-Large staff have
developed draft AFRALO Operating Principles that we would like AFRALO to
consider adopting rather than the far longer and more complex draft Bylaws.
Most of the other RALOs have operating principles and/or rules of procedure
that are far more clear and concise.  The draft AFRALO Operating Principles
offer a less complex, operating structure consisting of a Chairperson, two
Vice-Chairpersons and a Secretariat rather than adding another layer of a
Board.   We encourage you to consider adopting these more clear Operating
Principles because we would not wish for your operations to be more complex
than you really want.

Comme convenu lors de la téléconférence AFRAlO du mois dernier, la
téléconférence afralo lieu le mercredi 2 Septembre examinera le projet
afralo règlements. 

 

La version 2 du projet de statuts AFRALO ont incorporé les commentaires
précédents qui ont été soumis par Tijani et Fatimata. 

Au personnel de grandes entreprises ont développé une version 3 du projet de
afralo des règlements municipaux qui conserve la majorité des dispositions
de la Version 2, assure pourtant le texte est conforme aux règlements de
l'ICANN.

Après discussion avec Mohamed et Yaovi en outre, au At-Large personnel ont
développé afralo projet de principes directeurs qui nous aimerions afralo à
envisager d'adopter plutôt que la beaucoup plus longue et plus complexe
projet de statuts. La plupart des RALOS autres principes de fonctionnement
et / ou règles de procédure qui sont beaucoup plus claires et concises. Le
projet de afralo principes de fonctionnement offrent une moins complexes,
fonctionnant structure composée d'un président, deux vice-présidents et un
secrétariat, plutôt que d'ajouter une autre couche d'un conseil
d'administration. Nous vous encourageons à envisager l'adoption de ceux-ci
plus clair des principes, car nous ne souhaitons pas pour vos opérations à
être plus complexes que vous voulez vraiment.
