[NA-Discuss] NARALO elections update - Announcement NARALO Chair elected by Acclamation

Dear NARALO members,



Greg Shatan, current NARALO chair, accepted his nomination (see NARALO elections wiki page)<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/2024+NARALO+Regional+Selections> , per NARALO rules, as he is the only candidate for this position,  he is declared the winner by acclamation for the term 2024-2026. Congratulations Greg!



See relevant NARALO rule: 6.5.1<https://community.icann.org/display/NARALO/RALO+Organising+Documents?preview=/2264679/231376884/NARALO-RoP-Rev_1-Approved-2022_09.pdf> If there is only one candidate for a position at the end of the nomination period the candidate will be declared the winner by acclamation without any need for further action by the Membership or the Chair.
