You may be interested in the At-Large Capacity Building Workshop on *The
Art of Assertive Communication* on Thursday 23 February 2023 at 12:00 UTC
for 60 minutes. Spanish and French simultaneous translation will be
provided.

Apologies for the Americas-unfriendly time (which is 4/5/6/7 am across
PST/MST/CST/EST). Note that a goal of the workshop is to provide tools "to
have efficient interactions managing language interactions between people
from different geographical regions, especially with Latin America and
Caribbean people."  Perhaps one suggestion is not to schedule interactions
at LAC-unfriendly times (or maybe the idea was to talk about "Latin America
and Caribbean people" without actually talking to LAC people).

All kidding aside, I'm sure it will be worthwhile, and perhaps it will be
recorded for later viewing.  If there's enough interest, we could even ask
for an encore at a NA/LAC-favorable time!
