(Frankly, I wasn't able to make the original dates but can make the new ones.) From what I can gather there are also safety protocol issues which make syncing the two meetings (in California at least) even more difficult than ever.

Evan - It is a good point about resolving calendar conflicts.. but if possible, it is nice to have the GA before or after the ARIN meeting so as to encourage participating in both.. however, it is probably good to note that the Fall ARIN meeting is usually also concurrent with NANOG.. so future GA might be better targeted to be concurrent with the Spring ARIN meeting vs. Fall for avoiding adding in conflict with NANOG meeting dynamics too..

As to the differences in safety protocols.. I believe ARIN generally uses whatever the local health requirements are.. ICANN has elected to be more restrictive?

PS also to note, the last day of an ARIN meeting is usually org reports and focused on members vs. days 1-2 that have more policy work..

PPS I would appreciate if vote for me in the upcoming election if you are an ARIN resource holder eligible to vote! :)
