Hi all,

Yesterday morning I proposed ALAC support for this nomination. During my
time in At-Large leadership, I worked with Stephane on multiple occasions
in policy development and other governance issues. We did not always agree,
but he was one of the few in the domain industry who had both the interest
and capacity to work towards consensus; he make the effort to understand
contrary viewpoints. ICANN will be noticeably the worse for his absence.

The ALAC is asked to nominate candidates for the award.
Yesterday morning I asked the ALAC to nominate Stephane to receive the
award posthumously, and at its meeting later yesterday it endorsed this
nomination.

To my awareness, multiple constituencies within the GNSO are also doing
this.

Important since the deadline is today.

- Evan
