Dear All,

On behalf of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, this is a call for membership of the At-Large Ad-Hoc New Meeting Strategy Working Party.

New ICANN Meeting Strategy:

In 2014, the ICANN Board approved a new ICANN Meetings Strategy for implementation in 2016<https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2014-11-17-en#2.a>.

Based on a formal recommendation made by the Meeting Strategy Working Group<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/recommendations-25feb14-en.pdf> earlier this year, this new strategy will create some fundamental changes in the way ICANN holds its meetings beginning with ICANN 55 in March 2016.

Mandate of At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party:

The mandate of the At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party is the following:

*         Advise the ALAC Leadership team regarding a draft schedule for the ALAC and At-Large for Meeting B of the New Meeting Strategy.
*         Represent ALAC in meetings with the ICANN Meetings Team.

Call for Membership:

The ALAC Leadership Team has requested that  a Call for Membership for the At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party be made.

The At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party is to have at least one member from each region. There is no limit in terms of membership.
