On behalf of Alan Greenberg, Chair of the ALAC, this is a call for membership of the At-Large Ad-Hoc New Meeting Strategy Working Party.
New ICANN Meeting Strategy:
In 2014, the ICANN Board approved a new ICANN Meetings Strategy for implementation in 2016<https://www.icann.org/resources/board-material/resolutions-2014-11-17-en#2.a>.
Based on a formal recommendation made by the Meeting Strategy Working Group<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/recommendations-25feb14-en.pdf> earlier this year, this new strategy will create some fundamental changes in the way ICANN holds its meetings beginning with ICANN 55 in March 2016.
The formats of the three new Meetings (Meetings A, B and C) may be viewed on the At-Large New ICANN Meetings Strategy Workspace<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/At-Large+New+ICANN+Meetings+Strategy+Workspace>
Mandate of At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party:
The mandate of the At-Large Ad-Hoc Meeting Strategy Working Party is the following:
* Advise the ALAC Leadership team regarding a draft schedule for the ALAC and At-Large for Meeting B of the New Meeting Strategy.
* Represent ALAC in meetings with the ICANN Meetings Team.
